Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi – a member of MGallery Hotel Collection – The Best Boutique Hotel in Vietnam 2022 has officially appointed Mr.  Alberto J. Lugo-Viña as General Manager.

Alberto J. Lugo-Viña is a seasoned hotelier with over a decade of luxury hospitality experience across the United States and Asia including Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. Comprising 10 years having served in various key management positions in prominent properties of AccorHotels – the world leading hotel group, Alberto boasts a range of experiences in hotel operations.

Before embarking on his hospitality career in Asia, he graduated from Les Roches Crans-Montana (Switzerland) holding a Master Degree in Hospitality Marketing, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management from the same institution.

No stranger to Hanoi, Alberto joined the hotel in 2013 as Executive Assistant Manager, before taking on General Manager roles at Avista Hideaway Phuket MGallery and the opening of Movenpick Myth Hotel Patong Phuket in Thailand.

Alberto re-joins the award-winning Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi MGallery from August 2022 and surely brings his wealth of expertise to oversee all aspects of operations, including the provision of strategic guidance to achieve Accor’s vision and implementing organizational processes for all divisions.
