Photo and Video Shooting Policy for In-House Guests & Walk-In Guests
To ensure the privacy and safety of all guests at Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi, the Hotel Management has established the following photo and video shooting policy:
Professional Photography
Professional photo or video shoots are not permitted in guest rooms or any hotel areas for both in-house and walk-in guests.
Any use of professional equipment (cameras, lighting equipment, tripods, or other specialized gear) will be classified as a professional shoot, subject to a photo package fee, unless previously approved by hotel management. The maximum number of crewmembers permitted for a photo shoot is 10.
All requests for professional photo/ video shoots must be communicated to the hotel at least 03 working days in advance. The hotel retains the right to enforce package fees and conditions or to deny entry to any unapproved photography crew.
All professional photo/ video shoot requests are subject to hotel availability and must receive approval from management.
Casual/ Personal Photography
Guests may take photos for personal use with mobile devices, provided they adhere to the guidelines outlined in this policy.
Outfit Changes: Changing outfits on hotel premises for photography is not allowed. Such activities will be regarded as professional shoots, incurring applicable fees.
Makeup Services: Guests may make simple adjustments to their appearance. However, professional makeup services or hairstyling are not permitted anywhere in the hotel, including restrooms.
Privacy Respect:
All guests and photography teams must refrain from capturing images of other guests or hotel staff without explicit consent.
Content Restrictions:
The hotel prohibits shoots involving underwear, nudity, sexual content, or any activities that violate local laws or hotel image standards. Commercial use of hotel imagery requires prior notification and approval.
Licensing Disclaimer:
The hotel is not responsible for any licensing issues arising from photos featuring hotel artwork, models, etc.
Responsibility for Damages
The use of tape, glue, nails, or similar materials on hotel walls or doors is prohibited. Any technical installations must receive approval from the hotel at least 7 business days prior to the event.
Taking photos inside the elevator is strictly prohibited.
Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during photo shoots or related activities. The hotel reserves the right to charge for repairs or replacements as necessary.
